Welcome to the Chatham Soccer Academy We offer a year round program for grade school age boys and girls that lines up exactly with the school year (September to July) We have 3 locations in Lakeshore, Windsor & Chatham, each of our academies is structured and operates uniformly, ensuring consistent quality and experience across all teams and programs. In addition to our local Academy programs, we also run our own Inter Academy Tournaments which give our players a chance to play with and against players at our other Academy locations and for those looking for higher level competition United FC is the home for all of our Select Travel teams.
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring every young player has a chance to join without the stress of tryouts or skill-based selections. Our high-quality training sessions emphasize learning and development guaranteeing every player the opportunity to be part of a team, play, and compete in a fun and respectful environment.

About The Academy
No Tryouts
We eliminated tryouts years ago, understanding that developing young players matters more than just selecting the best. Tryouts put unnecessary pressure on kids, we accept players on a first-come, first-served basis. Our focus is on improving every player, not excluding them before they've had a chance to grow.
No Politics
Our Academies are independently operated under our license, free from external boards or influences. We prioritize our players' needs, making decisions and changes swiftly to enhance their experience without any political hindrances.
No Labels
At our Academies, we've removed labels like "Recreational, Travel, Competitive, and Elite." Every player is an Academy player, united in one organization without separation by ability or financial status. We celebrate each player's unique contribution to our inclusive soccer community.
Affordable
We strive to keep our Academies affordable by cutting unnecessary costs. You won't find expensive kits or hefty team fees here. Our focus is on funding quality coaching and enhancing our teaching methods. Expect more training, more playing, and an affordable price, with payments made on a monthly basis to spread the enrolment fees over the Academy year.
All Players Are Equal
Our approach ensures equal access to training, matches, and coaching for every player, regardless of age, gender, or ability. Unlike many clubs, we don't reserve our best coaches or more resources for higher ability players. Each junior player receives the same number of sessions and match days, and all benefit from our top coaches, as we rotate them to work with every group.
Coaching Pools
Our Academy coaching staff work as a collaborative team and are involved with as many players at different age groups as possible. This fosters a club atmosphere and gives players a chance to learn from all of our Academy coaches from top to bottom.
Equal Opportunity
We believe that we should be providing all players the same high standard of coaching and access to the same programs. Every player regardless of age, gender or ability should be able to participate in the same amount and quality of soccer as the next player.
Standard Programming
All players in your Academy should get the same soccer experience that is designed to help them learn the game and improve. All players get access to the same programming. The program is designed with player development in mind not simply gaining registrations.
Player First Team Second
Every player comes before the team. At the grassroots stage the focus must be on each individual player and developing their understanding of the key principles of "HOW" we play soccer, not on creating teams that win at any cost without using the key principles of HOW to play.
